Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a strong smell of stale cigarettes that lingered throughout our stay. The cleanliness left much to be desired. the shower curtain had stains, and the towels were frayed and lacked freshness. Additionally, the TV was virtually unusable, stuck on the weather channel, and the remote control was quite dirty, making our experience all the more disappointing.

Checked in for class reunion and got a real headache. The staff canceled my double bed reservation without reason! Not cool, Motel 6!

I appreciated the free parking and the location was great, with easy access to local restaurants. However, there were issues that dampened my experience. The shower knobs didn't work well, leading to difficulty finding a comfortable temperature. The linens on the bed had stains, which was concerning, and the towels felt rough against the skin. A hole in the wall beneath the AC unit also caught my eye, and I could definitely smell something musty lingering in the air. While I slept well, my family found their bed uncomfortable and reported back pain during their stay. Overall, the place has the potential to be much better with some basic improvements.

motel 6-fond du lac has a great location, just a couple blocks from the interstate and close to many restaurants. the service was fantastic, with friendly staff at check-in who made the process smooth. it's a perfect spot for families needing comfortable accommodation.
